My old bandmate Paul Bergmann had a big birthday party this past Sunday out at the Pedro Point Firehouse in Pacifica, CA. He got all of the many bands he's been in recently to play there, with him sitting in on accordion, drums, guitar, and bass (depending on the band).
While there, I heard some mighty fine playing by Gary Chiappetta with the Country Casanovas. He was playing a GFI through a Nashville 112 and filled the hall with no problem.
It's rare to find another steel player in this area, so to have him and me on the same bill was very unusual (especially since my band Go Van Gogh is about as far from country as you can get).
Good job, Gary! _________________ Brad’s Page of Steel
