She generally uses the C6th equivalent to A6th ... GECAGECA.... hi to low.

The name of the club is Ego's. It's a small, dark bar located in the parking garage of an office bldg. in Austin, and is quite popular amongst the carefree youth of our town who favor adult beverages.

...and, it's often used for karaoke. I'm not sure if there's a connection with the name "Ego's" and the karaoke.
It could be that and/or a play on "Emo's," an old and popular rock club in town. Or something else altogether. |
