At this time of year especially, this one truly speaks for itself. I wish I could toss some money in her case.

Most illuminating...can anyone shed any light on what tuning she's using?

Sorry Andy, I couldn't resist. It really is a beautiful video, and is very symbolic of many lap steelers plights...playing traditional music, using a primitive style of playing(a steel bar on steel strings, as opposed to all of the electronic manipulation out there, ie: auto-tune, quantized keyboard "performances", drum machines, etc...)in a modern world that sometimes seems to pass us by.
I'm not bitter though. Rolling Eyes

Andy, That is a very poignant video. Its a shame about the sound quality. I notice a good breeze in the trees beyond the woman. That may be baffling the mic.

A little sad, but a little inspirational too. Just goes to show that if the music is in you, it will find a way out.

Great link. And that guitar actually looks pretty nice.

Any idea what the name of the tune is?

Thanks,
Hans
