Anecdotally, I have several friends/colleagues who use Sophos and are fans. I can't speak first-hand... haven't had any A/V on my Macs since... wow... 2002 maybe?

I haven't used Sophos on Mac, but have a lot experience with the company in my day job.

They are a Top Notch Anti Virus provider.
