Hello,
I am shopping for a Mullins. I am wondering what the differences are in Mullins Pre-RP ,the RP and the Billy Cooper models, and approximate ages of manufacture.I understand that there were only 34 Billy Cooper models produced. Is one preferable over the other ?

Thanks

The Pre RP guitars had a cross shaft center support. The RP's did not. Also the thickness of the wood body was not the same. I have been told that the alum. necks were diffrent. One was hollowed out more than the other ? You would have to get that info from Micky or Herby.
The RP guitar came out in the late 90's. As far as perfered, one over the other ,they are both excellent. I have owned two Mullen guitars both Pre RP's and I have played the RP and the G2. Can't go wrong with any of them.
All the Billy Cooper guitars, I have ever seen, were RP's.
Start a poll and ask the players which one sounds best.

Here is a topic from awhile back. Might shed some light.
