These are photos of my bass rig. I had an idea and ran it past Joe Naylor of SteelSeat.com He said he wouldn't normally do this, but for me...okay. This is a Peavey 500 watt BAM modeling amp and it's equipped with a chrome upright that extends to move it around like a two wheel dolly. The back rest clips onto the upright and the seat cushion simply lays on top of the amp. It's quite comfortable. This is just an example of the innovative ideas Joe's starting to get famous for. At 98 lbs. this has got to be the heaviest Steel Seat ever. Thanks alot, Joe.

I thought we agreed not to tell any one - oooops it is out now. Just joking -------- glad to do it.

It is one of a kind (for now)

I was just taking a computer break from the shop and needed a smile.

At they can not accuse me of just making one thing.

Thanks for the note Rick

I built a seat on top of a Hartke kickback 12 a few years ago-I called it the "Amp-a-Seat".

Steve ----- can I use that name - then I can say Amp not included, some assembly required.

Bill ----- yes it would rattle you but maybe that is what he wanted.

He has a real steelseat too.

Maybe we can get a photo of that on here soon too.

Thanks for the notes

Oh no, you fellas figured out my secret. Embarassed Sorry about letting the cat outta the bag, Joe. It's just such a great addition to my amp and it's really comfortable. Not to mention that it's a testimony to your willingness to try innovative ideas to your already awesome products.

Here's a picture of my REAL Steel Seat:
