Are there any other hotels near the show? I think the Harvey is sold out. What part of Dallas is this in? I ain't never been to Texas

| Bob, I stay at the Comfort Inn ... it's parking lot joins the Harvey parking lot.The rate I am paying,w/AARP card is $45. W/O card was $50. I can't help with directions even though I can drive to it. Regards, Fred |

I just called the Harvey, which is indeed sold out.
There's a motel across the parking lot called the Comfort Inn 972-929-0066 (rates seem less than the Harvey), while just across the street is the Red Roof Inn 972-929-0020 (rates seem less than the Harvey), and several other motels are in the neighborhood.
The Harvey Hotel DFW is west of Dallas, in the City of Irving, just across the freeway from DFW International Airport.

Jeff,
You are right. I used to work at the airport and it IS west of Dallas. It is a legally registered city of it's own named DFW Airport, TX with its own city government, law enforcement, fire department and, etc.
Neither the airport nor the Harvey are located in Dallas.
I just got a note from one person coming from out of town who was instructed to go to the "Dallas" Harvey hotel, and was told that it is in Downtown Dallas which isn't where the show is being held, although it used to be.
The show is in Irving, TX.
