Congratulations to this month's winner of the Steel Guitar Crossword, Bruce Fischer for submitting the correct puzzle solution and being selected in our random drawing! Bruce wins his choice of CDs or tab from me, so send me an email, Bruce and let me know your choice.
Honorable mentions this month (for submitting correct solutions) go to:
Steve Hitsman
Budd Kelley
Steeln@klompy.net (sorry, I don't see the name to go with this email address)
I'll be posting the solution and a new puzzle within the next few days. In the meantime, you might want to start brushing up on your Aramaic... |

Way to go Bruce! I thought that was a tough puzzle. I finally just guessed at those two "Dodd" answers.
Jim, I have sharpened my pencil and girded my loins... bring it on! |

...Steve, you might try keeping the pencil in your shirt pocket instead of your pants pocket... |

Ouch!
OK, folks, the solution to the Feb. puzzle has now been posted at my website Looky Over Here!
I have not yet posted the March puzzle, however. Don't want y'all to have too much time to do it. [This message was edited by Jim Cohen on 03 March 2004 at 09:04 PM.] |

Not that I'm going to stop trying - however, I believe you've got a little bit of a mean streak in you Jimbeaux! I picture you pacing the floor coming up with puzzle material that will make most of us break some pencils, miss dinner, yell at the dog (when he looks at you like "Come on, pet me while you're sitting there pulling your hair out.") I'll admit, I may be wrong. But, I'll enjoying the challenge anyway.

I'm sure we all are rooting for you to pull though on this Donna and I'm sure you'll cross the finish line in flying colors.
Maybe on the surface it might seem like TEAM DODD has been performing like TEAM DUDD. But, it's so dang easy to make a wee little mistake on those puzzles. Well, my spelling wasn't the best on the February one and Jim is as a strick as an old time school marm on these things. So, may the Luck O' the Irish bless ye this merry month of March so's we can be all green with envy when you haul in that big win. |
