I am putting a duncan semour hot rails pickup into a lap steel. I want to run the wires direct to a jack. There are 5 wires : red, white, green, black, and bare. Does any one have an idea which wires to combine into two so I have a good ground and hot. Many thanks Brian

Its a humbucker so would follow the typical SD wiring code

Red and white get soldered together and taped / shrink wrapped ... (these are only used when doing coil split wiring)
Bare and green to ground
Black is hot to tip
Here is a basic HB diagram for reference
