How often do you adjust your tuning nuts? According to Bobbe's newsletter, some players rarely adjust them. I didn't know this, but, I thought that at least 1 or 2 of the nuts may need tweeking on a regular basis. I may not have stated this issue correctly.

What are you thoughts and experiences?

Thanks, TommyG...

This time of the year the squirrels are picking up nuts. Three of our neighbours have disappeared already.

Tommy, When I play my ole Sho-Bud about 1-2 hours a day it stays in tune for a week or two before it needs a little tweakin on the tuning keys or tuner nuts.

On the guitar that I'm playing now, since I settled on the strings that I want to use, I don't have to "fight the tuning nuts". I would tend to agree with Bobbe, that if the nuts need frequent adjusting, then there must be a problem somewhere. Just my opinion,....

What Glyndon said (said)..I buy my strings in lots of 5, or more sets at the time, and try to get them from the same run/box.Seldom have to move the nylons on my MSA, or my CLR.
