The steel guy would be Canada Bob Lucier. The
fiddle guy is Brian Barron who was a huge
inspiration to me as a kid. Thanks for the
video.

It is amazing to watch the great technique and hear the fine tone coming from Bob already in the 70's. He is truly a master of the steel.

I can remember as a young teen watching that show a lot and thats when I fell in love with steel guitars.I didn't even know what they were called in those days, just that some day I would have one.Now I know it was Bob Lucier thanks to this thread.

I loved that song and still do.

Brings me back almost 50 years ago when I was a bluegrasser.

It is hard to imagine Mack with a Pedal steel, piano, and a Telecaster. When I used to see him it was mandolin, banjo, Bull fiddle and martin acoustic.
Sounds good with pedal steel. And George Hamilton sounds good anytime, but he is from North Carolina.
