I went to the Peavey web site and it appears they no longer sell any Nashvilles other than the 1 12. 75 watts won,t do it in the bands I play with, not even two of them.So what amps are we buying now?Gary

USED Nashville 400 , my opinion, the best $350 or so spent on a Steel amp, the best bang for the buck

OR

get a 68 thru 71 Twin Reverb and just be done with it all ! ( but those are +- a grand )

I converted a Fender Quad Reverb to a split cab Twin. Great amp, and it wasn't expensive, as most people don't want that humongous amp. Same chassis as a Twin.

I just ordered a ZT Club. 200 watts, 22 pounds. It hasn't arrived yet.

I like my Music Man HD-212, but it weighs over 80 pounds. The idea of an amp that weighs only 22 pounds is absolutely delicious.

I will be using it with my POX XT (With Tommy Dodd's presets) to shape the tone.

well I know its not for everybody
but my nashville 112 kicks butt even on c6
the bands I play with are loud bands as well
The nashville 400 is a great amp as well as sessions 400 if you can handle the weight
good luck in finding what you need

I'm still gigging with my old Standel that was made in the late fifties. Best sounding amp I've ever played through.

My ZT Club just arrived a few minutes ago. I haven't even taken it out of the box yet.

Guess what I'm going to be doing for the rest of the afternoon. Very Happy

I played the ZT Club last night, and it performed admirably. I used it in conjunction with my POD, and it sounded just fine.

I once asked another player who had a chance to hear an MSA Millennium before I did, what it sounded like. His answer was "It sounds like a steel guitar." (Ironically, both of us now play them.)

With that spirit in mind, this amp sounds like an amp. It does what it's supposed to do. It's another good sounding amp that works well for steel, basically in the same league as Peavey.

What makes it special is that it only weighs 22 pounds.

I like my Music Man Twin, but it weighs over 80 pounds, and I'm tired of schlepping it around all the time. The ZT has more power, at about 1/4th of the weight.

I will be getting a 2nd one soon, and together with my POD XT (with Tommy Dodd's presets,) that is going to be my rig from now on.

Don't look at me, I'm still using a late 70's Session 400 that I picked up for $200 a couple years ago.

Former owner used it for guitar in a punk band...go figure. Shocked
