Tim, Sarah was about 18 years old there, she's now late 30's. She now plays a Magnum SD-10. She was only 14 when Scotty let here loose at the St Louis festival. She opened up a with a mega fast Lloyd Green number. Buddy Emmons walked behind her while she was playing and "crowned" her with his Derby hat When Lloyd Green head lined one of Gerry Hogans festivals here in the UK, Lloyd sat side stage to watch Sarah play. That girl is totally fearless.... What an ambassador for the UK.

I was at Scotty's Show the first time Sarah performed. I met her,her mom and dad and they are great people. Sarah didn't bring a camera, so I took lots of extra pictures of her performing and mailed them to her. I consider Sarah one of my best friends and she is blossomed into a super picker and vocalist. When Sarah was at the Convention in '06 , i was fortunate to hear her do her set in one of the rooms in the hallway , she was kind enough to give me time to take some pics of her and me together. On top of her being a great musician, was wearing some out-of-this-world great smelling cologne. Next to a bakery that was heavenly.

Tim, I believe she started at age 7. Ken Byng a fellow forumite was one of her first teachers. Sarah used to live in Exeter England and Ken was in the Southampton area (not too far away). Her father Arthur used to drive her there for lessons. I've known her personally since she was 14 and seen her gig in those days. She's not a big headed person in any way. Lloyd Green was always her favourite steel player. She's never played C6th nor wanted to. You can find various tracks of her on tapes and cd's where you'd swear some was played on a C6th neck but not so. Tracks like "gonna build me a mountain" In her earlier days she had and still keeps her Sho-Bud Lloyd Green
