Bruce, sounds like fun, but the Mt Vernon Show is that same weekend. Wish I could be two places at the same time.
Blessings, Albert

I was really looking forward to this show last year, so I'm glad it's back on for this year. I'll be there for sure! Thanks for the heads up!

Bruce, like Albert said, that's the same Weekend as Mt. Vernon, Ill. and I've been obligated to it for several years. Would like to attend your show, sounds like a good one. Larry Baker

Bruce,
I will be there for sure. I plan to get a room this year so that I can stay late for jam night. I'm sure that it will be a great show as always.
We'll have more fun than the Mt. Vernon bunch!!!

We're only six weeks away!
Let's get this thing going and keep it near the top so that we get a nice turnout! Don't let the Mt. Vernon bunch put the hurt on us. I'd hate to have to tell everybody about the free beer and pretty ladies at our show to get them to choose Davenport.
Who's going this year?

Check... Check...
Testing 1,2,3 - is this thing on?
Am I really going to be the only one there?
We are less than a month away!

Sounds like fun! is anyone bringing a 12 string to the Friday jam that they wouldn't mind letting me get a feel for it? or show me some things? Is this an open jam? Don't know how or if i can keep up. I may bring my s10 guitar down if that's the nature of things. It'll be good to learn from and see everybody.

I am ready to hear some great steel playing. Looking forward to making new friends and seeing the old ones.
One of these days, I will sit in on the jam instead of just watching. I'm not quite there on the steel yet, but I'm getting pretty close.
See you tomorrow night!

Just wanted to thank all the steel players who take two days out of their lives and blessed all who attended with their great steel playing. I did not hear one person that I would not be proud to play along side as a musician.
The staff band was great as usual and we all appreciated the effort they put forth in working with each steel player.
Hats off to everyone.
THanks
Bob

Steve, I wish I could have met you but I barely got off the stage all day. Great show and that one legged dancer.... I'm sorry I don't think anyone caught that, well next time, heh Ron.
