| Presently living and working in northeast Alabama, but will retire next summer and move to Brownsville, Texas. Have played 6 string and elec. bass for 40 yrs, and have always admired the PSG and those who play it. Finally got my first E9,(sing neck)Pedal Steel about 4 months ago. It is a '76 Wheeler Ped-All. It is an oldie but it is in good shape and everything works on it, except me. But, I am learning and I am passionately committed. Like all beginners, I am struggling with blocking, picking the right strings, etc..., but I am making progress. I won't give up. Just wanted to say howdy to all and say that I am proud to in the family of PSG enthusiasts. Regards |

Welcome to the Forum Robert. THIS is the place to be for all matters concerning the steel. You will find answers and opinions here from well seasoned vets to us beginners and simi-beginners. The only foolish question will be the one you did not ask. I have recieved so much valuble info here and everyone seems glad to help. Again, welcome aboard from Kentucky and enjoy your new found addiction.
