Walt, I don't think that is too much of a stretch for a good pro single neck, perhaps a little light for a double.

Walt, I didn't personally see the ad, but my wife was reading it to me this very morning. It was a pedal steel (name, I don't know) she saw on Craig's List under "Musical Instruments" in the San Antonio (Texas of course) area. I think she said they were asking $800.

Hello Guys, I'm today am listing one of my Carter S10 3/5 professional. I listed it once before as a package deal with pedal, amp, cords and all. Had no takers. So here goes again. I beleive the best I can do is $1300.00 including shippimg to the lower 48.
$1200.00 if you want to pick it up
Good Luck to all,
Bob

Thank's guy's I appreciate the advice and help.

I'm new to the pedal steel rig, although I hopefully reasonably up to speed on most other guitar's, amps, etc etc/
I've had PSG itch for couple years and intend to make effort of mastering to some degree, my hound's howl when they hear a siren, surely I can match that pitch with practice cause one of them has a decent voice.
I would like a PSG that has quality enough for me to know the noise comming out of it is me, and not a rattle of chinese screws stripping.
I may be obligated to spend a little more money if I see something that I like. Which is part of my problem not seeing, feeling, touching ...thanks again
