Nightlife?
I searched and thought I would find several non-pedal postings about the song "Nightlife". Are there any postings or did I search in the wrong section.

It is easy to play the steel guitar. Playing so that the audience finds it pleasing is the difficult act.

It's been a while, but I put a video on YouTube featuring "Nightlife" played on an 8 string lapsteel with an expanded Leavitt tuning.

The nice folks at the sanitarium are letting me practice now so I may be posting more tunes in the near future.

Hi Roy,
Thanks for asking...I used the standard Leavitt tuning with an added low A string and a high F string giving me from low to high - A C# E G Bb C D F.
Lately, I've been practicing on an old 6 string acoustic guitar with the nut raised. Still inspires me to see what is available with the original Leavitt tuning. Many thanks to you, Mike Ihde, and Bill Hatcher for showing the way....

Interesting Therman.
I leave the first 6 strings the basic
tuning from D down to C# then add A for
string 7 and G for string 8.
I, as you, like working with the six
string original tuning. Great fun!
I hope you share more of your playing
in the future and wish you all the best.
