I accidently plugged my Hilton pedal power supply into my Peterson Stroboflip tuner and burned out the power supply in the tuner. I called Sue at Peterson and told her what I had done. She assured me that I was not the first one to do such a thing and said they would fix it the first time at no charge, (next time is on me.) Anyway, I left the tuner with Sue at their St Louis booth and received it back Monday all fixed, no charge. That is great customer support. Thank you Sue!

Well, I've got to send a great BIG THANK YOU out to Sue myself.
I bought a used Strobo-Flip from a guy in Vegas almost two years ago. The internal mic did not work and it had the usual in-line distortion issues requiring the diode removal. Other than that it worked fine.
I left it with Sue at the booth during the Convention and was told to return in about an hour. I returned at the appointed time and Sue handed me a brand new unit with the diode mod done. I explained again to her the history of the unit, and that I had purchased it used. She said "take and use it in good health! We just want you tuning with a Petersen."
You can't beat customer service like that! Looks like I'm a Petersen customer from now on!
Thanks again Sue!!!
P.S. Jerry, it was nice to meet you at the gospel show!
Cheers!

Jerry after reading your post and using Kevin's link, I sent an email to Sue for some assistants with my VS-II.
Within an hour or so I got so much information from her I’m still going through it. Pictures and all.
Bata Boom Bata Bing. Now that’s service!

Sue also removed a diode (or diodes?) to eliminate distortion. I can now use the Stroboflip without using the special tuner cord I had made with a 1 meg. resistor in one of the jacks on the advise of Randy Beavers. The cord worked fine but now I can use any cord to the tuner with no distortion. Thanks again Sue, I sure hope you watch the Forum from time to time so you can see our messages of thanks to you.

Hello Eddy,
Here is Peterson´s Contact page from their website.
When I had an issue with my Strobostomp I talked to Ulli Thiel in Hamburg. His phone number can also be found on that page. He helped me solve my problem right away.
Hope that helps.
Greetings from across the border
Pit
