Make plans now to join us in Northeast Iowa October 22-24 for our 19th annual show! We will start on Friday night with an open jam at the beautiful historic Electric Park Ballroom, Waterloo Iowa. All musicians and singers are welcome! Saturday and Sunday we will have over 30 regional players and will be featuring none other than Dewitt "Scotty" Scott from the International Steel Guitar Show in St Louis. Plus our featured player this year is the One and Only Jim Cohen! The Jump Start Academy (JSA)will be featuring three students playing a couple of tunes after only 1 year of lessons! Plus we will be inducting some more students in to the JSA for this next year.
Check out our website at
www.steelguitarjam.com and also join us on Facebook keyword search "Northeast Iowa Steel Guitar Show" and become a friend. We'd love to see you at the Northeast Iowa Steel Guitar Show in October "Where No One Is A Stranger"

Hi Kirk, made my reservations for the show, but you need to change the contact information. The 800 number is for the Heartland Inn motels, and they no longer are known as the Heartland. The 800 number will connect you to the Heartland reservation desk, but they don't have a number for Waterloo anymore. The web link for Days Inn is fine, and people should go there for the reservation information. I used the direct line to the motel for my reservation, and bypassed their 800 number when I didn't get an answer.
Am anxious to be back in Waterloo, and to see and hear Jim Cohen. Haven't seen him for a few years, and I know that everyone will enjoy him.
See you in Ocotber.
Dennis

Good catch Dennis! The Days Inn, formerly Heartland is under new management and updated their phone number. The hotel has been freshly remodeled and is a very nice place that all will enjoy staying at. The correct number to make your reservations at the Days Inn is: 319-235-4461. Make your reservations by Oct. 1 to receive the special NEISGS rate of $70 for all rooms! See ya'll in October.

I was gonna mention that it was going to be good to hear the famous Jim Cohen again. And for those that haven't heard him it is time you did. I was afraid it might sound like hero worship.
