"Aloha 'Oe", the most famous of the over 150 songs that Queen Lili'uokalani penned, has been recorded by such unlikely singers as Johnny Cash to the universally famous version by Elvis Presley; by Les Paul, Buddy Merrill, Billy Vaughn, Al Caiola, Arthur Lyman, Marty Robbins, Bing Crosby, and a host of others... to Duane Eddy. Here is a take with a little twist on the Duane Eddy version, featuring "surf guitar".

Surf guitar by Sal Cerano of Italy, backing rhythm/percussion by Jim Collins of Scotland, and steel guitar/ukulele/keyboards by Kay Das of Orange County where surf guitar was born. Key of E/F. Steel guitar: Steelocaster A6 tuning. This version was first posted on an Australian website, making this a four-nation involvement.
