The steeler sounds great, and he was given twice the normal time to put in a great sounding steel break. Nice.
Who might it be?

If it was recorded in So. Calif. it could have been Red Rhodes.

When was the song cut? On the Capitol stuff from the 70s it was Jerry Brightman,Buck Owens steelman @ the time.

Hi guys!
In case you mean the new version of the song on Tony's "The other side of love" cd,it's Johnny Cox!
Best wishes,Andy.
