Thanks guys! Yes, this is a Sierra. The tone is quite a bit different from my other lap steels. I'm used to vintage steels with single coil PU. This one has a George L's humbucker, very smooth, even, and powerful. The natural (acoustic) sound of the guitar is more "bassy" than bright. It sounds and feels more like a modern pedal steel than a lap steel, probably because I'm used to vintage lap steels. It's a beautiful instrument, heavy, high quality materials, very well made.

No, I'm playing through a Peavey Nashville 112 in the video. I use the Silverface Princeton Reverb for teaching guitar lessons.
