I just bought a Marlen steel guitar which came with a Dekley low profile volume pedal in the case. Anyone ever used one of these and if so what did you think of it. This one works fine and looks fairly durable. Is there any demand for these?....JH in Va.

As the former plant manager of Dekley, I'm a "little" prejudiced. They are a fine workhorse of a pedal, and I don't recall hearing of any problems with them.

I have one and it's really comfortable,a very cool pedal.

I don't think I've ever seen a lower profile pedal. It's the most comfortable pedal I've tried and about all I've used for quite a while.

I'd avise you to keep it.

Jim, who has the molds? Would they be willing to sell them?

Gosh, I don't have a clue. Sam Gibson used to sell Dekley foot pedals, so he "might" have the molds for them, and "maybe" the volume pedal too.

You could try him at his machine shop: samachine.samg@verizon.net. He might at least know where they are or what happened to them.
