I've always been a sucker for triple necks and I decided to add a 7-string bass neck to my D-12 pedals-off, former Dekley. It was machined from a 2x4 of 6061 T6 aluminum, which might explain the unusual keyhead assembly. The bridge and nut are press fit (.380->.375) titanium rods. The guitar has a lot of mileage on it and is used for "metal" kinds of things. It bolts on to the back with three 3/8-16 socket heads. And it's tuned, bottom to top, C C C C C G G. The middle three C's are the bottom note on a C6 neck and the 2 below that are an octave below. The pickup is a Bartolini.

Hey, I think that qualifies as Coolest Steel Guitar In The World!

The name has to change from Coupe de Ville, though. Maybe The Hearse?
