I played a squareneck at the shop and would love to have one. I'm not much of a lap-style player, but they are very nice instruments. You can get a lot of different sounds by blending the two pickups, which should make it plenty versatile for different musical styles. In the right hands, these Lapros would be killer!
The builder, Dave Begalka, knows his stuff, builds very high quality guitars and plays 'em very well too.
