I got to spend an evening listening and chatting with Dean while on vacation. Guys let me tell you this guy can pick!! His knowledge of his steel is fabulous. He uses a lot of midi to cover the parts that are generally missing in a 4 piece band (but not THIS band. The band was excellent but Dean definately stole the show for me. His knowledge of phrasing for all the different instuments he simulated was unbelievable. A Musicians Musician. Plus the tone of his Shobud was excellent. Great player, nice guy and excellent musician.
