Dancing on "Raisin The Dickens"

Enjoy the Steel playing. I'll think it's Terry Crisp on Steel. Wondering if this a Derby or a Emmons guitar who Terry plays.

Terry started with Derby in March of 92 as I remember. He had already left Skaggs for Reba. He started playing an MCI (1986 - 87) and later EMCI while on the road with Skaggs. Before that a Emmons PP.

I never ask what he recorded that song with.Don't know why.I always dug what he played on that tune. He always had a least one PP at the house.

Because he was using a flanger. That's not a good example of Terry's tone. But check him out playing a Carter Starter.(Bobbe Seymour demo Vid. You Tube) Terry gets great tone no matter what he plays.:)

he played a Derby at the steel show in Saluda!

man, Terry is the real deal and killed it that day!
Saturday night we jammed and he played "Rollin my sweet babys arm" at warp speed!

you would figure i loved that! 8 steel players on stage takin turns! i thought after my turn i had give him a run for his money but he reached back and pulled out the pro stuff and smoked it!!!

humbling when you think you can play!
great guy as well!!!
