David Hartley, using the Steel Mixer.
Vic Eaton and David Hartley came over last Saturday to pick up Vic's Steel Mixer rig. Following their visit they went back to David's and recorded a great video that shows how David uses it. David sent me the .mov file this morning. It's recorded at a very low volume level so David could talk over his steel, but I think the clarity of the sound still comes across. I've split it into two parts so it would upload to YouTube. I thought it really demonstrated so well the different ways the Steel Mixer can be used to enhance the sound. It's also great to watch David's playing and hear the sound of his Shobud.

Great job David, and the Sho-Bud sounds great.
Mark you've got something with the new Steel Mixer, so much you can do with it.
David keep up the good work.
See you guys on down the road.

Thank you Mike, I can't wait to see you using it
Tommy, Bill Stroud has them in stock now. It's truely amazing how David uses his Steel Mixer. David told me the other day that he wasn't sure if he would take his steel to the Irish Festival in October, he was just taking his Steel Mixer! He said he could always find a steel he could play, but would really miss his Steel Mixer. But, I'm taking his steel over for him now, the car will be well loaded! I'm looking forward to Ireland, Mike Headrick is the headlining US player, should be a good one!
