| The Commander is coming near here next weekend and his current band doesn't list a steel player. The website says forum member Chris 'Tiny' Olson was on steel. Anybody know? |

Dave Zirbel recently posted that he was to be hooking up with CC about this time, so with any luck...
Either way, if it's anything close to what I saw last year you'll be in for a blowout gig, but even more so with Dave on the stringed keyboard! |

He either does a four piece or picks up steel guys in different regions. Tiny plays on the cd and does a lot of gigs with them in the northeast US. Don Curtis covers the midwest. Not sure exactly how far those guys travel with the band. They have some other guys they can use too. I pick up a few dates a year with Cody in northern California. I did have the pleasure of going to Hawaii with him, only because the others couldn't make it. 
I think they have a guy in Colorado that plays with them on occasion. Not sure if he will be at the gig or if they will have steel.

Thanks everyone for the responses. The Commander put on a great show at the Crystola Roadhouse last Saturday. He didn't have a steeler, but brought a whole bunch of fun! My wife and I had a great time.
