I've never used my Comcast site for music so, hopefully this will work. I've recorded a song using a fry pan, a war-tome B6, and a B10, all using the "new" black suitcase Rick I recently got. I'm not going to say which is which, but one guitar starts the song and goes through the first half of the solo, then a second guitar picks up the second half of the solo, and the third guitar takes the solo out at the end. All three were recorded through the suitcase usng a tube ribbon microphone going into a Daking pre then into Pro Tools, I did add some high end e.q. via the Pro Tools plug-in, and there is Pro Tools compression to handle the attack and release, which I typically use on every track I record with. If anyone's interested, the acoustic guitar is a mid-40's Gibson L50 miked at the F-hole with a mini condensor called a "Blondie" -- made by a fellow on the Geartslutz forum. The kick was miked with a Cascade M39 condensor in the front and an Apex 215 (?) dual ribbon on the batter side. Bass recorded direct into the Daking using an FMR compressor and Walker Stereo Steel for thickness and warmth. Tambourine recorded with a Studio Projects C1 and lots of FMR compression. The vocal was recorded with a Cascade Vin Jet ribbon. Backup vocals were done with the C1. I didn't use the bottom four strings on the B10, as that would have been an easy identifier. I tried to play them all three with similar voicings.
