Bob,

I didn't notice a place where I could post a question on your site, and I wasn't sure that I could post a steel guitarist wanted add there. I have posted the add below on Craigslist.com in San Francisco. I thought your site would be a good place to find a steel payer. Could you post this add for me in some way.

Thanks

The name of the band is The STillmen. We are a Bay area Rockabilly band that is looking to go into a new direction. We have been on two European tours and have played shows in a number of different states. We have played Bimbo's, Slims, the Paradise, Elbo Room, Starry Plow, Ivy Room, ect, a bunch of clubs in LA, Las Vegas and San Jose. We have two CD's, Two 45's and a 10 inch record on a finish label. Do Google search on The STillmen to find more info. or Startonerecords.com

Anyway...

We are looking to add some steel guitar to our set. We practice in Oakland. The music will stick pretty close to late 50's and early 60's Honky Tonk. We are looking to do the harder stuff like Wynn Stewart and Early Paycheck. We still will do our older music and touch on some Rock and Roll.

Email if you are interested.

Thanks,

Steve Walz
