Would someone please tell me haw to define an Emmons serial number?

1789L? My guess would be mid-to late '97. My old SD-10 (1885) was delivered new in June, '98. Back then I believe they were shipping 15 or so guitars a month.

Kevin, assuming they are a popular color. Late 97 to mid 98.

Can't help with the PP. Seems like it would be one of the early ones of course. Chris, Herb, and Mike Cass have those down. Maybe one will stop by.
