Arizona pickers

Post by Bent Romnes »

Arizona produces her share of great pickers. Danny Sneed comes to mind.
Here's another fine stylist on his Franklin:

Bent, he plays very well.
Please tell me more about Mr. Wilson Gillette, in my 35 years of living in the Phoenix area I have not ran across him at all, anywhere.
Did he just move to Arizona recently? Is Wilson a forum member?

There's a member by that name since Apr 2008
Looks like there's more talent out there than we know about.

Danny, nice to hear from you. Well it was a chillier 80 here this afternoon but that's a few miles north of you :-)
I am checking on youtube all the time, hoping to see another one of your fine videos. Take care my friend.

I did a little web searching for Wilson and found this.

Graduated from high school in 1959 in Newton North Dakota.

Has participated in a few independent CD projects around Phoenix by Bill Slater and Danny Roberts.

May live in Scottsdale.

Has or had some affiliation with the Full Well recording studio in Phoenix.

You can find an mp3 or two by Slater with Wilson on the Internet.
