Tri-Cities Steel Guitar Show

The First Annual Tri-Cities Steel Guitar Show will be held October 11th & 12th at the Holiday Inn Hotel & Suites in Bristol, Virginia. Any steel guitarists wishing to play, please contact us so we can add you to the list. A list of all confirmed players will be added later. A live band and soundtracks will be provided. There will also be space available for vendors.

The hotel is located at exit 7 of Interstate 81 and the phone number is
276-466-4100. When making your reservations, be sure to mention that you are with the Steel Guitar Show to receive a special rate. There are also other hotels located nearby.

One more thing, Steve and his dad are great folks and will make everyone feel right at home there.
Also there will be plenty of things close by for the wives to do in case they get bored.

Count me in..and let me know if you need any help! (423-357-3506). And I appreciated when you and your dad, and Mike and Brian, Herby &friends(Ben Broden..Doc Peters...and the gang from Dolly's "Stamped") helped me for the East Tenn Jam a couple of years back. This is going to be great.

The phone calls and emails are coming in. Add Mike Sweeney,Bryan Adams,Roger Kelly, Boo Miller,Ray Walker and Bob Hayes to the confirmed players list. Mike and Bryan will have a booth with their great cds for sale and Boo and Ray are building some fine pak-a-seats and will have them on display. Don't count your chickens about the Hicks's yet, I think Steve is going to talk to Russ next Tuesday at the Super Jam here in Nashville. He'll let us know then.
Also Boo Miller will have his new c.d. there too.

Hey Steve and Bryan you can count me in as I just moved to Mooresburg Tn. and I went to hear Roger kelly play last night and a fine job he does. Great guy that Roger.I will be there and hope to do a little better each time.

Well, It's official!

Russ and Laney Hicks will be at the Tri-Cities show. Also it looks like Herby Wallace is going to be there too. I know of another maybe but, I'm not saying anything untill it's confirmed.

This is going to be a GREAT show and I hope it's a yearly event for a long time to come.
