There is a neat little lick in the intro to this song, all of two seconds in length, 0:06 to 0:08. Could anyone tab this out or at least describe how it's played? Thanks in advance. |

I'm not at my steel, but the lick starts on the 4th string 3rd fret (hit that twice) 4th string raised w/p1 (hit that and release p1) hit 6th string raised with p2 once, then hit strings 4 & 5 together and push p1. I think that's it. I'll check it out when I set up my steel later today to do a show with Luke!

Oh yeah, then I hit a G triad on the 3rd fret - strings 3,4,5 together 7 times and slide up to the 5th fret on the 7th time. the fiddle is playing a harmony with the steel during all of this. Don't forget to pick block. |

Thanks for the replies Dave. I was kind of in that neighborhood but I did find your suggestions helpful. I appreciate the response. All the best to you. |
