Mod for Fender Boo-wah Reissue Pedal

I use this and the boo-wah is stiff even after much use. So I've opened up the bottom and looked and how it worked.

I'm not sure how confident I feel messing with it but I REALLY want to loosen the back-and-forth swivel part.

Any advice or previous posts on how to do this?

It could be an easy fix...
Before you take it apart try to get some oil into the swivel point without making too much of a mess. It worked for me.
