One of my all time favorite bands will be passing through Ca. This time they're bringing a steel man from Texas so I won't be playing but couldn't be happier for them. Their cd is out and they have a lot of shows lined up.

Dave, hope your gig went well, we missed seeing you at the show.
I have to head off to work in a few minutes and I will write a longer post later today or over the weekend but for now I just want to say that I highly, highly recommend you catch this band if they are coming through your area. The current tour is along the west coast and other western states so check the dates.
Instead of pissin' and moanin' on all these threads regarding the current sorry state of mainstream country music out of Nashville, here is an opportunity to see some real music and have a great time, and because of Dave Gonzalez, The Stone River Boys have a lot in common with The Hacienda Brothers.
And to Forumite Gary Newcomb, Sandy and I enjoyed meeting you last night and once again, I loved your playing on your Sierra, you have a lot of imagination and originality in your style, along with soul.
Don't miss these guys, folks!
