I don't know much about this brand of guitar, however it is for sale in my area and was thinking of checking it out. Anything I should be aware of before I contact the seller? Parts, issues, etc.
Thanks for any help.
PS I've owned Sho-Bud, Emmons and MSA in the past so not totally in the dark.

Wrights or Sierras are excellent pedal steel guitars. The only problem you might have with this one is that it is more for a collector than professional use. This Wright is an older, probably 60s or early 70s, cable pull set up which will not perform in the modern world of PSGs.

Thanks so much for the tip. I had suspected it was a cable changer and an older design. I'm no collector, and I'm sure I would be able to find something much more practical and modern to gig with for the money he is asking.

I had one like this with S/N 00015.
It was a great guitar and the basic tuning stayed in well. The problem with age was that tuning the pedals became a problem. The head was cast aluminum, it was a single raise/single lower. Pretty soon (after a few years) the set screws/tuner became loose and couldn't keep the pedals in tune. I bought mine in about 1962 or so.

David, or anyone. Did Jimmy Day use this Wright Custom for some of the other Ray Price hits such as "Same Old Me", "City Lights", and Heartaches By The Number"?

Danny, she probably christened the fork lift, needed to pick it up, since they weigh about the same.

The one on Craiglist is similar to the one Chuck built for me. I took delivery in July 1963 when he lived in Proberta, CA, near Red Bluff.
