Is there any way to disable that box that opens every time I close my outlook mail? It asks if you want to compact messages.

You will find the option to adjust or disable those notices in your Outlook/Outlook Express/Windows Live Mail Options. These may be found under the menu item Tools. The option tab labeled Maintenance has the settings for compacting the database, deleting upon closing, etc. _________________ "Wiz" Feinberg, Moderator SGF Computers Forum
