My wife and I have just returned from Branson. If you have plans to visit there this summer Ricky Boen and Texas Mud is a must see. Dave is there on the steel and featured on nearly every number. He is fantastic. He also is eager to speak with all the steel players. Don't miss this.

You're right, DAve is a great player. Don't miss Texas Mud if you get to Branson; dollar-for-dollar, it's the best show in Branson.

I would join in on the unsolicited plug for Ricky Boen and Texas Mud with Dave Musgrave on steel. If you are a fan of western swing (and you can tell by the avatar that I am) this show is the real deal, and as stated above, Dave does a fantastic job on steel.

I haven't seen this season's show yet, but last year it featured twin fiddles, with Dave Musgrave on steel, and the great Mark Abbott on bass (Mark played bass on many of the Time Warp Top Hand albums).

The theater is comfortable, the price is reasonable, and the sound is exceptional. As mentioned above every band member is personable and approachable. Ricky even let me play twin fiddles with him with the Sons of the Pioneers (his other Branson gig).

If you like the music of Bob Wills, Spade Cooley, Hank Penny, etc., do not miss this show while in Branson.

Well, I like to think of it as The Dave Musgrave Show with Ricky Boen on Fiddle! Bahahahahahahaha!!!

Yes this is a great show for all who love Texas Swing and upside down fiddling, LOL!!!

Dave has always been a great player and he has a lot of fun and it shows!!! And he is truly a nice guy!!!

My friend Mark Abbott plays great upright bass and is a wonderful singer!!!

Actually I think everyone in the show is a good friend and are all great players! Don't miss it, I didn't!!!

Gotta get my 2 cents in this. I've know Ricky and his Dad since Ricky was just a young teenager and folks, their show is the real deal when it comes to western swing and country. Ricky is one of the finest fiddlers I've ever known and Brother Dave and Mark I also know and they are class acts themselves. Mark is also a fantastic fiddler and singer. If you go to Branson, don't miss this show. Shucks, go to Branson just to see them.---Henry

Here are two of the purest country music shows you'll find in Branson. Texas Mud is very talented and have performed at our Annual July OzSGA Show, Lisa Layne is as close to Patsy as you will find anywhere. Be sure to take in these two great shows !! Smile (Congrats on your gig, Boo.)
