Well, tonight, I was sittin' behind my Jackson BlackJack Custom and decided to play some classic country songs, and one of the songs I'd always wanted to learn on steel was "Walk Through This World With Me", so I turned the cd on and played along with the song. At some point, I'm gonna play the song at a show on steel. I familiarized myself with the melody while George was singin', but I first taught myself the steel parts.

Brett, thats a great classic country song to learn, sung by most likely the best country voice around... as a matter of fact, I really enjoy playing this song too, so you go for it, and have a blast.. Very Happy

By the way how do you like your Jackson, they sure look nice?

Tommy's CD is what got me interested in learning it. Now if I could just find all those little intricate changes he's making!

That was Tony Arrowood playing. That man has a great style and gets a fine tone out of that Marlen. I wish we could hear more from Tony soon.

I believe Tony still has quite a few videos on You Tube. He doesn't even use a typical steel guitar amp. He plays through an old Peavey bass guitar amp.

Lee, I've seen every one of them; I subscribed to his channel a long time ago. Tony plays some great stuff.

I think a bass amp is well suited for steel.

Dierks sang that on the George Jones birthday bash at the Opry. What a great song to play. Good luck Brett.
