My hats off to Dave Musgrave,Roger Blevins, Terry Bethel, and all those responsible for putting this show together. The band was one of the best I've ever heard anywhere. Can't say enough good things about the steel players that participated; Roger Blevins, Don Curtis, Gene Fields, Terry Bethel, Milton Quackenbush, Buck Grantham, Bob Hempker,Dean Holman, Joan & Johnny Cox,and if i missed someone i'm sorry. The vocals of Rob Parker, Clay Cooper, and Paul Harris were a dab of icing on the cake, great as usual. Hey Terry, what key was Clay's song in? (ha) And last, but surely not least, the Branson Connection Band : Chuck Landry, Randy McConnell, Milton Quackenbush, Bruce Hoffman , Wade Landry, and Dino Strunk, you guys are terribly, terribly, fantastic.
If you missed this event this year, you missed a great show and a bunch of fine musicians. Also, when you do make it to Branson, be sure and go to the Paul Harris Show, the Moe Bandy Show, and the Pam Tillis Show and many others that employ and support the beloved steel guitar and the Branson Connection Band. See ya there next year.

Yep!!!! You all should have been there. Once in a great while you get to play with a band that can read your mind and that was the day for me. That's (bar none) the best band I've ever sat in front of. Please don't miss this show next year !!! I'm already looking forward to it. Every musician in that band was top notch. Thank you Terry, Dave and all the guys for an un forgetable memory. |

Hey Guys,
Thanks for all the kind words. I personally think this was the best of the 10 mini- conventions (9 Pickin' Partys) we have had in Branson.
To all the Steel Players, and Singers, and especially the BRANSON CONNECTION BAND, ALL OF YOU ARE THE GREATEST.
The crowd was fantastic and we had more manufacturers than ever.
To all of you, from all of us here at the OZARKSGA a very special thanks.
Next years Jam will be held the last Sunday in July. Buck Grantham, Phil Coontz, Dave Musgrave, Clay Cooper, and Paul Harris have already confirmed for next year. The Branson Connection Band will be there, so make your plans now for the next BRANSON JAM.
