Anyone: Can a "True" bypass be installed in an old Match Bro? When I switch steel sounds weak. Thanks Jeff

I have an original MatchBro that has the tone control in the bypass position. It is not weak and if it is, the two 9V batteries need replacing.

I just modified another original MatchBro that does not have the tone control in bypass and it worked the same way. I added a power on/off switch to it so the input guitar cord can be left in it and powered off with the switch.

However, if it is weak with good batteries there is a problem with the unit and will need to be sent to Goodrich for repair.
