L.T. Zinn and Evelyn Whitney will not be able to attend this years event.
He is still in Winchester, Indiana and/or just on his way home sometime on Sunday.
So, since I don't want to drive alone, I will just go to church and spend the afternoon with family.
Have a lot of fun for me, it would have been the first time that I wouldn't have had to work all day there.
Also, for you who will attend, eat lots of yummy food/enjoy a day of great music and I'll miss you all. Evelyn

Hey all,
Sure am sorry I couldn't make it up for the picnic today. I spent a very enjoyable afternoon with Drew Howard trying between the two of us to figure out some of Big E's licks....Got a few but I think more sessions are needed, how's that sound Drewbie?
Hope all went well, and it sure looks like it was a beautiful day for it. We'll try next year just so's Billy can see his blue darlin' again, which is quickly becoming MY blue darlin', especially after today!

Hey Skeet.
Sorry you couldn't make it out this time. We had a great turn out for the picnic, lots of great players, good food, and a fabulous warm sunny day.
That Blue Emmons you've got sure does have that unique "Emmons" tone. If there ever was a "keeper" then you've definately got one there with that guitar. Wish you could have been here to show it off. :-)
A great big thank you to everyone who made it to the picnic. It was one of our best ever! |
