Ozark Mtn. Hoedown with Eddie Snow

Just wanted to let everybody know that Eddie Snow has 2 steel solos on the show this year and does a excellent job. Also does a lot of banjo features too. The George Brothers have out done even last year show. They have several new cast members who do a fantastic job. In the second half they have put in something that I don't think has been done before and is going over very good. I can't tell you what it is but if you get a chance check them out. Also Eddie is working on a steel cd and a bludegrass cd.Should be ready in 4 to 6 weeks. By the way the new fiddle player is very good as well as the new keyboard player. Very talented group. We enjoyed it very much and heard a lot of nice compliments. I'm off to Hawaii now so if anybody knows any steel players there, let me know and I'll check them out.

I have't been to see Eddies show this year yet but I'm hoping to get up there. Make sure that you stop at some of the roadside pineapple shacks (kinda like our watermellon vendors) and have some fresh pineapple and sugarcane and coconut. The stuff they sell us over here is junk. Try to climb Diamond Head. It is an awesome view from up there and well worth the climb. It's not too strenuous. Have a great time.
