Yesterday, I played the PIX Morning Show in NYC with one of the bands I sometimes play with. After that, we made it to Outlaw Country on Sirius Radio.

The mix is pretty poor, but when is it ever right?

Tonight at Hill Country BBQ and tomorrow at Barbes. After that, I'm taking a long sabbatical from performing live.

What fun! Steel and horns go so well together. In live TV there's not a lot of time to worry much about the mix. As long as the vocals come through that's about all the sound tech cares about.

Mike, the ball's in your court now to make a sensitive face during your close ups to match the horn players. Smile
