Not posting this even as a for-sale item (no personal involvement anyway) but on eBay there's a really wonderfully wacky homemade(?) tricone:

Interestingly, it has one of the studded (for loop- or ball-end strings) tailpieces as found only on the first 500 or so National tricones, ca. 1927-28.
