I play this arrangement in A Major Tuning
with Low Bass ie E--C#--A--E--A--E

It will also work for the High Bass with
minimal modification.

As stated in the Topic info it would sound
fine on a Weissenborne, Dobro bluegrass
tuning or Lap Steel tuned A or G Major

Very beautiful as always, Roy. I like how you get some of the flavor of the Celtic pipers with your hammer-ons and how you take time to let the melody sing.
I gave Danny Boy a go a few months back in Dmaj7 tuning:

I had a listen Andy and like the way that tuning
works. The low D has a beautiful deep timbre on the
Weissenborn you are using.
I must give the Dmaj7 a try soon.

Many thanks.

Roy
