well I need to find out what folks have come up with as far as the settings go on a nashville 400 if that makes any sense I would like to read settings people write down and then and see what pops up the most.

I keep this piece of paper tucked in the back of my NV400. It came from Buddy's website several years ago.

Bass 3 O'clock
Shift 12 O'clock
Mid 12 O'clock
Treble 10 O'clock
Presence 2 O'clock

I don't know if it was before or after modding, but I use it as a start in case the knobs get moved.

Isn't it a bit odd that Buddy's mid setting is at 12:00? One of the things that we think makes this amp suitable for steel, is the way the mid controlls are voiced. At 12:00 the mid control is not boosting or cutting, so it doesn't matter where the shift is set, it's not doing anything.

Intersesting!
