I have diabetes lost the feeling in my feet and is going to my ankles, I don't have the control I onces had and get a volume serge now and then. I've got a Ernie Ball vol. pedal. and I'm thinking of trying a pot with less taper to it. Not nowing much about pots is there one that would not be as sensitive? Thanks

I have similar neuropathy in my feet caused by Chemo. I don't have as much problem as you do and actually have more problems with pedals than I do the volume pedal. I use a Hilton Volume Pedal.

If memory serves me correctly the Ernie Ball's have a 250K pot in them where the "standard" for a steel guitar volume pedal is 500K.

Thanks Jack. I had a time keeping my feet on the peddle, once in a while I'll get off know. But it's better. I set back and keep looking down. Thanks again I'll give a 500 a try.

Richard -

Like Jack Stoner, I use a Hilton low-profile pedal. It's smooth as silk and effortless. Just might be an answer to your problem.

Hope this helps.

Richard

We'd be glad to try to help if we can Richard
